Literature and further Ozone SocietiesLiterature and further Ozone Societies
The international Ozone Institute (IOI), now the International Ozone Association (IOA), was founded in 1971, and is a kind of cover organization for all ozone applications in industry and technology. For medical requirements, the following societies have been founded: In Germany: The Medical Society for Ozone Application in Prevention and Therapy In Switzerland: SAGOS, Swiss Medical Society for Ozone and Oxygen Therapies. In Austria: Ozone Therapists´ Interest Group. In Italy: IMOS, International Medical Ozone Society Italy These four European societies keep in close touch with each other, continuously exchanging scientific information: they adhere to the same training guidelines, adapting for instance their recommended ozone dosages and concentrations to be in line with the latest state of the art, and informing their members about all new developments at regular intervals.
